Noche de Lectura Familiar / Family Reading Night in Spanish

Noche de Lectura Familiar / Family Reading Night in Spanish In-Person

Es necesario inscribirse. Registration is required.

Kids ages 6–10 & their families

Jumpstart your habit of reading together as a family in Spanish. At this program you will share a meal with other Spanish speaking families. Then you will listen to a librarian read a story aloud and you will practice discussing the book as a family. You will leave with a free box of bilingual books to keep, courtesy of Humanities Washington. This program is intended for children who understand spoken Spanish and are willing to try speaking some.
This program is a single session of the Prime Time Family Reading Program and uses the same books. Families who have already participated in the 6-week Prime Time Family Reading program may attend again. If they’ve already received the free box of books, then they won’t receive a second set of the same books.
