Take-and-Shred Event

Take-and-Shred Event

We’re switching up Shred Day to help more people dispose of documents containing their personal information. Follow these steps to get your personal documents safely and professionally shredded.

  1. Pick up your Seal N’ Shred bag at an SCLD library during open hours. Limit is one bag per person, while supplies last. To find a library near you and check open hours, visit scld.org/locations.
  2. Fill your Seal N’ Shred bag with documents containing personal or confidential data, such as bank statements (older than one year), bills, canceled/voided checks, credit card statements, junk mail, pre-approved credit card offers, pay stubs, and tax documents (older than three years).
  3. Once the Seal N’ Shred bag is full, peel the paper off the adhesive strip and fold the flap down to seal the bag and secure its contents.
  4. Bring your Seal N’ Shred bag to DeVries Business Services (601 E Pacific, Door #3, Spokane, WA 99202) to have the contents destroyed in their secure facility. Seal N’ Shred bag drop off: Monday–Friday, 8–11:30am & 12:30–3pm
