Storytime with the Spokane Symphony (ages 2-5 & their families) In-Person
You’re invited to a special storytime featuring musicians from the Spokane Symphony. Hear and see the musicians playing live music while we read stories. When we’re done reading and begin playtime, families will have the opportunity to try some instruments that the symphony is bringing for exploration.
Storytime is a place for parents and caregivers to interact and have fun playing with their children. You are your child’s first and most important teacher. To help you with this role, storytime introduces important literacy, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), and social skills that children need for kindergarten and that you can continue to explore at home. Now is also a great time to get a library card for your child. It’s a gift they can enjoy for years to come.
Space in our libraries is limited. Please call ahead if your group has 10 or more people.
