Estate Planning Basics In-Person

Registration is required.

Gain a basic understanding of estate planning, probate, and trust terms as well as a general review of what an estate plan entails and why it is important. Discussion topics include foundational definitions, a review of testamentary documents, power of attorney forms in Washington state, health care directives (living wills), and the importance of proper beneficiary designations for non-probate assets, such as life insurance and retirement plans. If time allows, the presenter will take your questions.
