Call for Submissions: Community Art Show
Theme: Journeys—Times Past & the Path Ahead
This year marks the 250th anniversary of America’s founding. We invite you and all in the community to reflect on where we’ve come from and where we are going as you create art. We’re celebrating local histories, family stories, and cultural traditions as well as the prospects of our lives as we continue to grow, adapt, and build. You can take inspiration from your family tree and cultural traditions. Or explore how you imagine the future may sprout and grow from the past to create artwork honoring America’s 250th anniversary!
Stop by the library to pick up a small wooden circle to use for your art canvas. When you’ve finished creating, return your art to the library before the deadline. Wooden circles are provided while supplies last. The library will only display art created on the supplied wooden circle for this art show.
Artwork must be appropriate for all ages.
